What is Hybrid Training?

Hybrid training is a method that combines multiple training modalities to enhance various aspects of physical fitness, such as strength, endurance, speed, and flexibility. It typically includes strength training (e.g., weightlifting, squats) and aerobic exercises (e.g., running, swimming, rowing) to improve overall athletic performance and health.

  • Simulated Race – Includes 8 rounds of 1 km runs and 8 functional training stations.
  • PFT Test – Helps assess an athlete’s baseline fitness level.

PeakWatch's watch app records the time and heart rate for each stage of training, making it easy for later analysis.

Training Details Page

After completing the workout on the watch, the corresponding stage data can be reviewed on the phone.

  1. The heart rate graph will highlight different time periods for running and functional training stations, making it easier to analyze performance across different phases.
  2. The duration of running segments and training stations can also be compared side by side.
