PeakWatch Energy Intake Data Information

Why Doesn’t PeakWatch Display Energy Intake Data?

PeakWatch is a professional HRV heart rate and exercise health app designed to help you better understand and manage your fitness and health. However, you may notice that PeakWatch does not offer direct tracking for food and energy intake. This is because PeakWatch focuses on analyzing data from Apple Health, where energy intake data must be logged through third-party apps.

How to Display Energy Intake Data in PeakWatch?

  1. Use a Third-Party App to Log Food Intake
PeakWatch can read energy intake data from Apple Health. You need to use a third-party app that can write energy data to Apple Health to log your food intake. Examples include MyFitnessPal, Lose It!, and Yazio.

    Steps:

    • Download and install a food-tracking app compatible with Apple Health.
    • Log your food and energy intake in the app.
    • Ensure the app is authorized to write energy data to Apple Health.
  2. Grant Permission for PeakWatch to Read Energy Intake Data
For PeakWatch to access your energy intake data in Apple Health, you need to grant it the necessary permissions.

    Steps:

    • Open the “Settings” app on your iPhone.
    • Scroll down and select “Health.”
    • Tap “Data Access & Devices.”
    • Choose “PeakWatch.”
    • Ensure the permission to read “Energy Intake” data is enabled.

Summary

PeakWatch integrates with Apple Health to analyze your health data, including energy intake. However, PeakWatch does not record energy intake data itself. To view this data in PeakWatch, you need to log your food intake through a third-party app and ensure these data are written to Apple Health. Also, make sure PeakWatch has permission to read energy intake data from Apple Health for complete tracking and optimized health management.
