Why doesn't the watch automatically start training?

When selecting a training session on the Explore page and clicking "Start on Watch", the PeakWatch app on your Apple Watch should automatically wake up and open the corresponding training page. If this doesn't happen, please check the following: Confirm PeakWatch is properly installed on your watch Open the Watch app on your iPhone, check if PeakWatch appears in the "Installed on Apple Watch" list with the same version number as the phone app. If not installed, scroll down to "Available Apps" to install it. Confirm normal communication between devices Training initiation requires proper data transmission between Apple Watch and iPhone. Check by opening PeakWatch on your watch, tap the top-left button → Connection & Sync, ensure "Phone Connection" shows normal status. If connection fails, try the following steps in order:

  • Confirm neither device is in Do Not Disturb mode (Sleep/Focus modes);
  • Force quit and restart PeakWatch on both devices;
  • Restart your Apple Watch; If issues persist after trying these steps, please contact us for further assistance.
